Bicis Vaquero has been selling and repairing bicycles in Benavente since 1954. The shop sits on Calle Santa Cruz in the old town, in a small city on the plains of Zamora, where the roads run long and quiet in most directions and a rider can hold a line for an hour without turning.
The business is built around its workshop. Alongside it is a biomechanical fitting studio, where riders are measured and their position worked out before they buy rather than after.
