Viva Bicicletas is a boutique road shop in Malasaña, in central Madrid — la casa de los ciclistas más exigentes, as they put it, and deliberately not a general bike shop.
The workshop is the heart of it. The team learned on classic steel racing bikes and now works across everything from 1978 frames to current electronic groupsets, with three published service tiers and custom wheel building using Park Tool tensiometers and hub-specific tooling for Chris King, ENVE and DT Swiss.
There is a club attached: a group that has ridden together every weekend for five years, open to new members, and given to travelling together to watch the spring classics.
A shop where the wheels are still built by hand in the back and the spring classics are watched from the roadside. The right instincts for a frame like ours.
